Chiropractic Adjustments
Our chiropractic adjustments are safe, non-invasive, and effective. We use a variety of techniques to restore your body's natural alignment, relieve pain, and improve your function and mobility. Dr. Wheeler is trained in pre-natal and pediatric chiropractic. He also utilizes Activator technique, Impulse adjusting, Arthrostim, SOT, Diversified, Thompson Drop Table, and Palmer Package.

K-Laser
Laser therapy can accelerate healing by up to 50% by stimulating ATP, which provides energy to your cells. It can also reduce pain and inflammation and help with nerve damage, such as neuropathy and he has had success in some cases of paralysis. Laser therapy is safe and effective for both humans and animals. Dr. Wheeler has been using K-Lasers for over 18 years after it cured a chronic shoulder problem he had suffered with. He was the first chiropractor to add a K-Laser in Anchorage, Alaska. He also was the only chiropractor offering both types of shockwave therapy near Pensacola, Florida.
Shockwave Therapy or Piezowave
Dr. Wheeler offers both Focused Shockwave, sometimes referred to as Piezowave, as well as Radial Shockwave therapy or EST. Shockwaves help break down scar tissue and adhesions, stimulate angiogenesis or new blood supply, and produce and migrate stem cells to the joint being treated. Stem cells can transform into many types of cells to repair damage and scar tissue. Most conditions will require 6 sessions scheduled once a week. The stem cells will continue healing for 3-4 months after your last session. Some conditions contraindicate shockwave therapy. (Results may vary person to person.) Most patients experience pain reduction and improved performance within the first 1-2 sessions, but for maximum improvement it is important to complete the 6 sessions on a once a week schedule. Typical treatment time is 10-15 minutes.

Our nutrition counseling services can help you develop healthy eating habits and make better food choices. Dr. Wheeler holds a Bachelor's in Nutrition and his wife is a Dietician. As a chiropractor he received additional nutrition training as part of his doctorate degree.
Auto Accident Recovery Center
Dr. Wheeler has been declared an Expert Medical Witness in courts of law. He has advanced training through the Spine Research Institute of San Diego, Dr. Nordhoff seminars, Care First Imaging and the Alska Spine Institute. He has previously published an interactive CDROM on Orthopedic and Neurodiagnosis which was formerly sold at chiropractic colleges in the United States and Canada. He has worked for several Independent Medical Exam Companies. Dr. Leon Chandler MD of Anchorage invited Dr. Wheeler to complete a fellowship in Pain Management at his office, where Dr. Wheeler observed epidurals, nerve blocks, facet injections, bracing and videofloroscopy. We accept auto insurance and will work with your attorney.
